Blog Update

As many of you have noted, this blog has not been updated in a very long while. At one point last spring, it dawned on us that some of Sammi's friends (or more specifically, their older siblings) were reading the blog and we heard some of the content reflected back to us at home in ways that we didn't intend, so we decided to keep what's private private for a little while.

In the meantime, we've had a very eventful year, with some improvement in Samantha's condition (highlighted by the end of chemo last August) and in our family dynamics, albeit off a low base line last summer. We've also made significant progress on our research endeavors. If you're interested, you can get a current update on our website at www.TeamSamantha.org.

In the meantime, we'd welcome hearing from you and/or seeing you at the Ride for Research on May 18, 2008.
